Additionally, logistical challenges in transportation and shipping continue to restrict the country’s ability to scale its garment exports.

Nonetheless, there is potential for Belize’s garment industry to thrive through strategic investments in sustainable and ethical fashion, as well as regional niche markets. Increasing interest in eco-friendly products and locally made goods presents opportunities for Belizean manufacturers to carve out a unique identity.
